Vision and Beliefs
Loving God:
Our focus is on meeting with God and letting Him speak into our lives in relevant and uplifting ways. We grow closer to Him through worship, Sunday School and small group Bible studies, and also through accountability and intentional discipleship groups.
Loving People:
Everyone is welcome to attend our church! We offer nursery and children’s activities on Sunday morning and youth events later in the week. We have Men’s and Women’s groups that meet regularly and an active Young Adults ministry. Our goal is to be a place where you and your family can connect with God and with other people as we go and grow through life together!
Following Jesus:
We believe our Heavenly Father is transforming our character and hearts to reflect the character and heart of Jesus! We believe Jesus is the exact representation of God and the model of how we should live our lives. Our desire is to be more than fans of Jesus, but true and active followers. We long to be used by Him to positively transform our local community and also our world by living out His life and love to the people around us, serving others, and giving generously.
These are the beliefs Nazarenes hold to be true:
We believe
in one God—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe
that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
We believe
that man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.
We believe
that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.
We believe
that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe
that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
We believe
that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
We believe
that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
